Administrative Cores
Core Teams
The administrative cores are the crucial staff that provides day-to-day support for faculty and students and ensures that faculty and staff receive the same level of support regardless of their department or research center affiliation. Each Core Team consists of the following Administrative Staff:
The Administrative Teams oversee the essential functions that drive each departments academic and operational success. Responsibilities span faculty and academic support (faculty appointments, promotions, and searches, Ph.D. students and departmental activities), and core operations (space, non-grant purchasing needs, HR; i.e., onboarding, recruitments, etc., website management, student payroll and calendar management.)
The Grants and Research Team manages pre- and post-award sponsored project management, subrecipient monitoring, budget revisions, salary allocations, participant payments and grant transactions.
