The School of Public Health is committed to providing professional development opportunities for members of its administrative staff. SPH staff have been invited to participate in an Online Leadership Program led by Howard Teibel of Teibel Education Consulting. The four month program teaches participants to:
- Improve their communication skills
- Cultivate productive moods in themselves and their teams
- Build trust and transform their professional identity
- Navigate difficult situations and conversations
In addition to the four-month long program, Teibel Education Consulting has also engaged in streamlined sessions with staff at SPH to assist in the development of missions and goals for the Finance and Administration teams. Howard Teibel has also hosted in-person retreats for staff to allow further development and exploration of these interpersonal skills.
The School of Public Health believes in investing in the personal and professional growth of its staff and recognizes the value they bring to their work and their teams. SPH will continue to pursue additional opportunities to support a stronger and more confident staff.
