In her new role, Andrea will oversee all aspects of grants administration, training and internal process development across the school. Working closely with our grant managers and SPH leadership, Andrea will lead the implementation of consistent grant administration processes and training protocols across all four administrative cores and provide ongoing support to SPH grants and financial managers. She will also serve as the school’s direct liaison to the Office of Sponsored Projects (OSP) for pre-award functions and training.
In addition to these new responsibilities, Andrea will continue to manage pre-award activities for the HSPP administrative core. She will report to Tiffany Amaral, with a dotted-line report to me, and will join the F&A leadership team in strategic planning discussions.
Andrea has been a dedicated and highly valued member of the SPH team, bringing extensive expertise and a deep understanding of the complex landscape of grant administration. Her commitment to supporting our faculty and ensuring the seamless management of our sponsored projects has been exemplary. I am excited to see her put her expertise to work in this expanded role.
Please join me in congratulating Andrea on this well-earned promotion. We are thrilled that her leadership will play a key role in our continued growth and success.
Sincerely,
Sara Walsh
Executive Dean of Finance and Administration
